What have I done so far?

I have been testing this idea out on some endurance events. My first real test is going to be the Canyonlands Half Marathon on the March 20 Expo.

• September 2008 - Boulder Back Roads Marathon - Volunteered on the food line, surveyed participants, organized and supported a voter registration drive at the post race event
• October 2008 Denver Marathon - Volunteered at Expo, surveyed participants, talked to nonprofits and other race directors
• November 2008 Panicking Poultry - 5K - Surveyed participants, talked to nonprofits
• November 2008 Seattle Marathon - Worked with 3 nonprofits to come up with some projects to be done at the expo, but didn't get any going
• December 2008 ColderBoulder - Surveyed participants, had table at event, handed out information for holiday volunteering opportunities with Volunteer Connection
